On May 25, 2024, Shen Yongji's work Intention - Double Action Purple was officially exhibited at the Beijing Contemporary Art Expo. The work consists of a regular grid formed by red acrylic and gold-and-silver inlaid metal strips. The contrasting colors of red and purple convey a sense of passion yet mystery. Using simple linear structures, it narrates inner conflicts and thoughts, painting a more profound spatial dimension for the language of sculpture.
